  Unfriendly service each time I come in! I don't look like your average Texan so perhaps that's why the kids working at the counter always look at me with a blank, expressionless, vacuous stare like they just encountered an illegal alien that jumped the border. The employees at the Alamo Ranch Chick fill A are just the opposite. They exude that charm and friendliness that the South is famous for.
  The food otherwise is fine...up to snuff. I'm not sure if they're being snooty or not, I encountered a lot of meanness up the road in Boerne, which is purported to be some kind of destination spot...I checked it out and to use the local vernacular...it "ain't squat" . They act as if they're part of something exclusive, but this area really isn't a happening place (Santa Barbara, CA is a happening place)...it's not all that, so I'm perplexed by the "tudes!"

  The employees are always courteous. I don't know how Chick-fil-A screens and trains but their employees are consistently friendly and earnest. You almost believe that it IS "their pleasure" to hand you those waffle fries and Chick-fil-A sauce.
  
  They're also very organized. When I see 12 cars in a drive through lane at other fast food places I usually keep driving but Chick-fil-A always handles them quickly.
