Reviews about Grimaldi's Pizzeria
- 2 / 5By Eric DoudrickThe pizza is okay but the place is just average. There is always and kind of problem with the meal. There are so many tables in the restaurant that you're sitting back to back with the next table. If you want to share a play they charge you for two full pizzas worth of toppings. It's already expensive and this is just an insult. The bathroom sink is huge but shallow with a large fluidity. It leaves you with about four inches of room to wash your hands above a rapidly filling sink of water used to rinse the dirt from a thousand customer's hands. There is a new place right down the road that makes you exactly what you want in minutes without all the trouble.March 15, 2017
- 4 / 5By Syntax ErrorAn upscale pizzeria with a great selection of gourmet pizzas, wine & salads.
If you like fine dining and pizza this is your place. Service is above par, requests like half and half pizzas, or custom orders are welcomed.
Ingredients, sauces, and toppings are excellent. In addition to your traditional pizza sauce, white and pesto pizza are also offered. Over 20 toppings are available to customize your pizza or calzone, and the everything I tried while dining there with a group was great.
Pizzas start in the $10-16 range and go up from there depending on your toppings.
The wine selection is pretty decent with a few dozen selections available.
While the prices here are a bit on the upper end, the service and food quality are very high end. Our food took a little bit to come out but when it did everything was fresh and hot. Which was impressive since we were a party of 8 ordering 5 pizzas. We had one minor mistake on our order which the individual chose not to correct, but otherwise service was great.
Expect to spend about $20-35 a person. Depending on size of pizza, toppings, soda/wine/beer, and salad/appetizer. The large pizza feeds 2-3 people.
While not the type of pizza place I normally dine, I enjoyed the experience and the food.March 04, 2017 - 4 / 5By Gail OlinGood service, even when crowded. Vegetarian friendly dishes. Chopped kale salad to die for! Warning...large portions. One small salad feeds 2; small pizza feeds 2. Really yummy wood-fired pizza with premium ingredients. Would be helpful if they explained the wines a bit better.October 21, 2016
- 3 / 5By Mitchell McDanielService was excellent! Pizza was delicious! House salad was okay, caprese salad was good. Great ambiance! But, the prices are way too high! You can go across the parking lot to BJs and get a comparable meal at a fraction of the price. Probably won't be making a second trip to Grimaldi's any time soon.September 22, 2016
