  We were referred by a friend and glad to find a really good pizza place. The food was excellent! The service was great. The staff and manager worked together very well. The pizza rolls just have to be experienced.
  
  Any negative reviews should be regarded as the exception. It will be difficult for us to want to explore other pizza restaurants in the area after we found this one.
  
  The affordability and value was another great surprise. If you have anything close to a positive attitude you will be happy you found this place.

  My family and I have been going to Halftime Pizza weekly for over a year now. The food has kept us going back because it's delicious! I will admit that we stepped away for a few weeks not too long ago because it seemed the service and quality of the food had been compromised with the addition of the new staff training for the new location. Now that the second location is up and running, things seem calm and back on track. Dave and his veteran waitstaff (Wolf, Dave & Chris) have always been so good to us.

  I'm from Northeast Pennsylvania, a place where tiny family owned pizzarias are everywhere, and the pizza is absolutely amazing. I have lived in Texas for 13 years and never found pizza I liked, until tonight! The sauce is sweet, the crust is tender and crispy, and the wings are fantastic as well. And my husband was very glad that someone helped carry the food to the car, since his hands were full of two year old. This is the only place in San Antonio that I ever want to order pizza from.
