  Tonight, my husband and I were trying to find a nice spot along the river to enjoy some drinks and appetizers. We thought we would try this restaurant located inside our hotel, Omni La Mansion del Rio, that happened to have a beautifully romantic spot on the river. We were seated and offered water and the usual, but when we decided to order a drink and an appetizer, we were told in a "very polite" manner that we could not sit out on the patio and would have to move indoors to the bar area. The patio is only for dinner guests. While we would have ordered a bottle of wine and some appetizers, and, most likely, would have ended up staying for dinner. They escorted us to the bar. Paying patrons that are staying at the hotel beware. If you want just a few drinks and appetizers, don't try it there. My husband and I were really embarrassed.

  Excellent atmosphere, and one of our appetizers were excellent (braised beef and polenta) but everything else was mediocre to sub-par (service, pealla, truffled potatoes w/o a hint of truffle, and bacon wrapped pork tenderloin.)
