  Over the top friendly Mexican restaurant! I am visiting from the Phoenix, Arizona area. This restaurant makes you feel warm and welcome. The waitress knows her regulars and welcomes them with a hug. The food was out of this world and the portions were huge! I strongly recommend this recommend this restaurant!

  Bland food in an obnoxious atmosphere. The salsa could be okay if it weren't 90% tomato paste. The best entrees are only passable at best. Nothing genuinely good.
  
  How this embarrassment to Tex-Mex has survived so long in San Antonio of all places is a mystery. A deal with el Diablo? Watched over by the Patron Saint of Cheese Enchiladas that Taste Like Velveeta? We may never know.

  Happy we returned to this excellent restaurant. In addition to the salsa provided with chips, three others were voluntarily offered. My beef-chicken fajita combo covered with onions and peppers was delivered sizzling hot. It was tender, nicely seasoned, & had a delectable flavor. Other items coming with the combo, rice & beans, were steaming hot. Service was great. Thoroughly enjoyed this meal in a nice, pleasant environment.
