  *7 months ago* One of my favorite happy hours after work. Love their steak. I give it 4 because one time I went and a couple got their vehicle broken into and the staff acted really oddly. *update* don't know what's going on today. But this bartender wearing jeans only seems to be paying attention to one customer. Service is not usual today. I ordered my favorite dip and it took forever and had already started to harden when it got to me. Bartender spoke when I came in and hasn't offered anything else since I walked in the door 40 min ago. I'm giving one star because I'm used to great service. Don't know if it's on the decline or if this bartender only cares for one patron at the bar. Loyal customer that won't be coming back any time soon if at all.

  Great atmosphere and outstanding waiters. Now, this Saltgrass can get a bit packed since it's around hotels and in close proximity to Sea World, which means very touristy. A few months ago this Saltgrass has had a small server/ waiter(ress) count, but I've noticed a few new faces which should help tremendously since its the only one in the entire west- side of San Antonio aside from the one on 1604 and Bandera Rd. So, make sure to plan ahead by making a reservation to avoid the long wait times which can be up to an hour or more, especially on Fridays (payday's), weekends, and income tax season!

  Good food good service just very expensive me and my wife each had a drink, shared an appetizer, and ordered one entree each. Though the food and drinks were good I probably won't be back due to the prices. Our total for just the two of us was $81 not including the tip and no we didn't even order steaks. Just too expensive for me.

  Had a great meal. My steak was perfect medium and the ribs fell off the bone. The server was super friendly and helpful. Would return for another great meal
