  The food IS always fantastic. Except for maybe one time. But the BIGGEST reason why I have to give them one star... is because I have never in my life had to deal with such terrible service. It used to not be like this. You come in on a Sunday or during the week and it takes almost 30 minutes just to get your drinks and this is even when they have more than half the restaraunt shut down. While you're still waiting for a chef to come and cook for your table on top of that. They won't seat you in order to speed up the process unless everyone from your party is present and they keep this rule even when there are 8 tables still completely open and an entire side of the restaurant not even open for seating. I miss when this place was. Benihanas and in all honesty the current staffing and management now is absolutely dragging this place to the ground. I have never seen it at a full house in years. I'm absolutely appalled and the reason why is because I and my family have come to this location for over a decade. Just goes to show they don't even recognize their loyal customers.

  I'm in training here in San Antonio, originally from Colorado. I was really craving for some hibachi, so i found this place on google. Anyway, we waited about 20 mins to be seated. Then waited another hour for the chef to show up. No exaggeration. The food is good though. The service is just horrible! And the place wasn't even busy when we went.

  My food was so delicious. My overall experience was horrible. A group of friends go at 2:30 on Sunday March 5, 2017, they sit us down & my friend's son moved the napkin & THERE WAS A ROACH!!! Some once came out (a guy) & said that it was a water bug. When it was clearly a roach. & we corrected him. Not one manager came up to apologize. All they did was move us seats, the napkin and plate that the roach was on, they didn't even pick up. They left the things on the table. Our bill came out to over $250. They didn't apologize, they didn't take anything off the bill. WORSE MANAGEMENT!!! IF YOU LIKE ROACH WITH YOUR SITTING, THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO. Never thought it would happen to me, ever.
