  I think I've had pretty much everything on the menu, and I've yet to try something I didn't enjoy. They've got plenty of condiments available on the table to personalize your dish (I prefer Valentina hot sauce n plenty of lemon in my shrimp cocktail!), and the cooks are more than happy to add lemon pepper to your grilled fish.
  
  There's a hometown feel to this place that makes you feel very comfortable....the decor and mural on the walls is definitely worthy of a photo.....and don't forget to have an ice cold michelada while you're there!

  Golfo De Mexico is a Mexican Seafood restaurant. Many items served with a spicy rice or fries.
  
  I've eaten at this location a few times while working in the neighborhood. Its a change to the fried seafood you get most other places, as the fish here has a very thin crust on it, while other entrees and side dishes definitely offer a Mexican flare.
  
  The restaurant itself is pretty basic, not a fine dining experience, but a good place to go for lunch, or an affordable meal when your craving seafood with a bit of spice to it.
  
  I've tried the fried fish, fried oysters, and shrimp plates, and on all of my visits service and food prep time were good, making it easy to visit on a lunch break without having to worry about time.
  
  The menu has a good variety of items on it, prices are fair. I would return again while in the area for a quick lunch meal.

  The one and only place I love seafood. Always fresh, always hot, with amazing service. Great proportions for the price. The environment is homey and the decor reminds me of why i love San Antonio. I've been coming here since I was a child about 15yrs ago, and will always return. ❤
