  I visited the store about an hour ago to place a to go order. The first thing I notice are signs like "No No No Split Checks No No!" "We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone." "No Checks Accepted." Dirty floors/carpets in the entrance. I stood at the counter for 5-10 minutes before Daniel, the manager, walked out of the kitchen, looked me right in the face, didn't acknowledge me at all, and walked right back into the kitchen. 5 minutes later, Raymond, another manager takes my order. As I'm waiting for my food with my black friend, the manager Daniel makes a comment about all these "mayates" in the store in Spanish. I should have refused my food then, but I didn't. After they hand me my food, I inspect it, and it seems okay so I leave. When I get home, though, the food was cold and nearly inedible. I called the store back and spoke to Daniel who assured me a refund because of their horrible service and food. When I get to the store, Raymond demands for the food, but I tell him that Daniel had already promised me a refund and he didn't say anything about bringing the food back. He calls Daniel and Daniel refuses to refund me my money back. You live and learn. They even denied a large party the section they wanted because they had already cleaned the section and closed it down. I've experienced bad service before, as I'm sure most have, but I just don't know if they're aware of how much they failed with this customer. No, I will never return. My ticket was $23.89. The last time Las Palapas will ever receive any more money from me. I will dispute the transaction with my bank, which I informed the manager that they will perform a chargeback as a result. He didn't care.

  Decent Mexican food. Consistency is lacking between locations. I really like the beef fajita taco norteno and some locations make the flour tortilla crispy and others do not. It should be crispy! Cost is high for fast food.

  Las Palapas is always good. Their tortillas are the best. Sometimes the drive-thru takes a little while, but that's because so many people come here. It's worth it!
